- Module 3: Characteristics of Industrial Effluents
- Module 4: Overview of Industrial Effluent Treatment System
- Module 5: Biological Treatment Process
- Module 6: Rationale for Conducting Performance Monitoring of IETS
Day 2
- Module 7: Performance Monitoring Parameters for an Activated Sludge Process – The Working Concept
- Module 8: How to Control Activated Sludge Process
Day 3
- Module 9: Sampling
- Module 11: Data Analysis and Interpretation (Excel Statically Analysis)
- Module 12: Record Keeping & Reporting
- FTR Briefing
Day 4
- Module 10: Introduction to Industrial Effluent Treatment System & Calibration and Maintenance of Equipment
- Module 10: In situ Measurement (PH, DO, Flow) Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) sample digestion
- Module 10: Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
Day 5
- Module 10: Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) Mixed Liquor Volatile Suspended Solids (MLVSS) Sludge Volume 30 (SV30)
- Module 10: Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR) Phosphate Ammonical Nitrogen
- Written Exam
Prerequisite
- Diploma or Degree in Science or Engineering
- Certificate from polytechnic or SKM Level 3 with 1 year experience in IETS operation or handling
- SPM with 3 years’ experience in IETS operation or handling
Note: Company must submit copy of highest educational certificate with a letter to confirm the experience
