Speaking at the event, Chandramohan M Saminathan, CEO PTTSB, highlighted, “The alliance brings together Honeywell’s leading technology in control system and global market outreach with INSTEP’s competent instructors and state-of-the-art facilities. The inclusion of hands-on training at INSTEP UDTP will enhance the quality of the learners and be a catalyst for more international programmes in the future”.
Briand Greer, President Honeywell ASEAN, expressed confidence that this MoU will broaden collaboration between Honeywell and PETRONAS in the oil and gas industry. He believes this will further bolster both companies’ aspiration to create a stronger presence in the Asian region.
As the global oil and gas industry continues to be affected by volatile oil prices, it is envisaged this alliance will support PETRONAS’ unwavering effort to produce skilled workforce and capable human capital for the industry.
