INSTEP Enters An Agreement With Mubadala Petroleum

Recently, Institut Teknologi Petroleum PETRONAS (INSTEP) and Mubadala Petroleum signed a contract for INSTEP to perform Competency Assessments and Gap Closure Training for Mubadala Petroleum Production Operations Team of the Pegaga gas field development. Mubadala Petroleum is Operator of Block SK 320 for the Pegaga gas field development located offshore Malaysia. 

The contract outlines INSTEP’s role to gauge competency level and identify gaps for all Mubadala Petroleum offshore personnel, and identify the requirements for skill development as well as to conduct training on delivering safe and effective operations.

The Pegaga gas field development project is now in the construction and installation stage with first gas expected in 2021.

The signatories were PTTSB Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Idris Ibrahim (second left) and President & Country Manager of Mubadala Petroleum, Mr. Stefano Raciti (second right), witnessed by INSTEP Head of Marketing & Sales, Mr. M Asri Omar (left) and Legal Counsel of Mubadala Petroleum, Ms. Nurul Hasinah (right).
As a symbolic gesture from Mubadala Petroleum, the unique Pegaga juice was served to all guests after the signing.
