INSTEP successfully completed the Technician Training Programme for ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Malaysia Incorporated (EMEPMI) 38th batch. As the year ramps up, the 11 years of partnership between INSTEP and ExxonMobil has progressively heightened the quality and the implementation of the training programme.
This learning milestone was witnessed by Chin Yew Sin, Superintendent and Siti Dura Muhammad, Operations Manager of Learning & Operations Support, EMEPMI and Chandramohan M Saminathan, CEO of INSTEP.
Chandramohan, in his speech, highlighted the continuous trust and confidence that ExxonMobil has placed in INSTEP as their learning partner and was proud that the strategic partnership has generated a total of 383 ExxonMobil talents to-date for the betterment of the industry.
In “Empowering Capability”, INSTEP consistently strives to innovate the learning approaches for progressive strengthening of competencies, facilitated by certified & experienced instructors and complemented with state-of-the-art facilities. The learners gained ample technical knowledge and skills through the blended learning approach of face-to-face classroom learning complemented by Augmented & Virtual Reality, hands-on training at practical workshops, experiential learning at INSTEP Upstream Downstream Training Plant (UDTP) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) at offshore.
This strategic partnership is a strong illustration of INSTEP as a crucial parachute rigger that meticulously packs every learner with the essential skills to be fit as the global workforce of a rapidly evolving industry.
Following the visit to INSTEP by Ana Berardi, Esso Angola’s Operations Training Supervisor, the learning partnership has begun to make a headway in collaborating with Esso Angola.
