INSTEP’s QMS Upgraded to ISO 9001:2015

INSTEP ISO9001:2008 certification, obtained in May 2016, has now been upgraded to ISO9001:2015 following a successful audit by SIRIM on 17 & 18 April 2018. There was zero Non-Conformance and two Observations for Improvement.

The 2-day audit was carried out by three (3) SIRIM auditors assessing the core processes under the certification scope “Provision of technical training on oil & gas operations and maintenance through delivery of Bridging Programme, Professional Development Programme and Assessment & Certification Programme”

Speaking at the closing meeting with the auditors, Chandramohan M Saminathan, CEO, PTTSB was elated with his team’s performance which he described as a well-focused and executed job. This “FOCUSED EXECUTION” is proof of teamwork and work momentum at INSTEP.  

Puan Asiyah Haron, SIRIM Lead Auditor, was impressed with INSTEP’s readiness for the audit and recorded in her final report that the commitment from INSTEP management & staff towards ensuring quality management system is commendable.  She added that leadership at all levels is remarkably demonstrated in INSTEP.
